Aside from changing hair color, changing eye color may be one of the most appealing cosmetic changes that a person might consider. If so, contact lenses with an “enhancement tint” provide a temporary way of changing eye color.
Slightly darker than a “visibility tint,” which uses slight green or blue coloration to help contact wearers locate, insert, and remove their lenses, enhancement tints are darker and intended for those who want to make their eye color look more vibrant.
For those who wish to switch to a completely new eye color, “opaque tints” can change eye color to including hazel, green, blue, violet, amethyst, brown, and gray. The center of the lens that lies over the pupil is clear.
For more subtle changes in eye color enhancement, consider an enhancement tint that defines the edges of your iris and deepens your natural color. Colored contact lenses are safe as long as your contacts are properly prescribed, used and cared for.
